Stargaze where the night sky is free of light pollution. JGAP is adjacent to the state park cabins and can be accessed by foot via a trail or by car; parking is limited.
A telescope or camera is not needed to take in the incredible night sky. So bring a blanket and spend your evening watching the stars, and if you are lucky, you might just catch sight of a meteor shower.
Visiting the area and participating in programs are free to the public.

The Hocking Hills State Park Visitor Center is located at the Old Man’s Cave parking lot off State Route 664. The visitor center features interactive displays, exhibits, and wildlife showcases about the Hocking Hills region.
