About the Preserve

Grandma Gatewood Trail

The Grandma Gatewood Trail connects three of the park's areas: Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls and Ash Cave. This trail has been designated as a section of the Buckeye Trail and as two national systems: the North Country Scenic Trail and America's Discovery Trail.

A paved path winds through a lush, green forest with tall trees. Sunlight streams through the leaves, casting warm light on the foliage and fallen logs along the trail. A wooden railing borders part of the path.
